NKY SWOH Driving Tour

We are excited to announce the fifth event of the 2024 driving tour season! The NKY SWOH Driving Tour is on Sunday, September 29 with newly revised routes. We will travel the rural back roads of Kentucky from Dry Ridge to Maysville for lunch, cross the Ohio River, and finish the day in Washington Court House, OH.
What to drive? As a BMW focused organization, we are also automotive enthusiasts at heart. Many of our members own multiple brands and models of vehicles. We encourage you to drive the vehicle of your choice and enjoy the experience.

Preregistration is required via Track Rabbit at this link. This is necessary to get an accurate count of drivers and guests, and to determine drive groups and staffing at the restaurant.
The BMW CCA Electronic Waiver is required via this link. The waiver requires a digital signature and photograph, thus a mobile device is best for this step.
Note: Preregistration DOES NOT take the place of driving event waivers and wristbands. All Participants MUST sign the waiver form and get a wristband BEFORE starting the tour.
The tour will originate at Starbucks Coffee in Dry Ridge KY, located off I-75 at Exit 159. We will meet at 8:30 AM, get situated, fueled up, confirm electronic waiver signatures, and drivers can begin the route prior to 9:00 AM. For those needing fuel, Shell and BP stations are located at either side of Starbucks.
The morning segment is 114-miles east to Maysville, KY where we will stop for lunch at deSha’s American Tavern. Parking is located in front and at the side of the restaurant.
The afternoon segment is 103-miles north to Washington Court House, OH for a final gathering at Streetside 62 Bistro. Parking is located at the side and rear of the building.
Important notes:
- Again, please preregister via Track Rabbit by clicking on the link to confirm you are participating. We need to get an idea of numbers, organize driving groups, and to provide the restaurant a heads up in advance.
- We are using the BMW CCA electronic waiver system to expedite registration in the morning. All participants MUST sign the e-waiver form and get a wrist band at the rendezvous point BEFORE starting the tour!! Save time and sign the electronic waiver ahead of time! Just click the link on your phone!
- For those that cannot make the start of the drive, feel free to meet up with us anywhere along the route. Drivers are also welcome peel off after lunch. Please email me directly if making alternate plans.
- With the exception of severe weather, the tour will take place rain or shine.

- Please refer to links below for turn by turn directions for each route segment. These are much easier to follow with a navigator. Google Maps links require some degree of interaction during the drive. Rallista is a newer app that is designed for driving events and requires no intervention. Both contain the same routes, so the choice is yours.
