Fall SWOH Driving Tour

We’re announcing a new driving tour, coming up on Sept 24th. This tour has a bit in northern Kentucky and a bit in southwest Ohio, begining in Taylor Mill, KY, stopping for lunch on the river in Maysville, KY, and ending in Wilmington, OH. This is a longer and more challenging tour, with 3-hours of driving in the morning, 90-minutes for lunch, and 2-hours of driving in the afternoon. As with all tours, the route contains twists, turns, elevation changes, as well as some great scenery!
Pre-registration is required via this Google form. This is needed to get an accurate count of drivers and guests, and to help figure out drive groups and staffing at the restaurant.
Note: The pre-registration DOES NOT take the place of our driving events waiver and wristbands. All Participants MUST sign the waiver form and get a wristband BEFORE starting the tour.
We’ll start at Biggby Coffee in Taylor Mill, KY, which is located off of I-275 at Exit 79. We will meet a bit earlier than in previous tours at 8:00 AM, get situated, fueled up, confirm waiver signatures, and drivers can begin the route around 8:30 AM. The tour consists of three segments. The first segment is 48 miles southeast to Falmouth, KY where we will make a brief stop for a restroom break. The second segment will continue east 63 miles to Maysville, KY for lunch at deSha’s American Diner.
The parking lot in front of the restaurant is plenty large and can accommodate everyone. deSha’s American Tavern has been a staple in Maysville for over 40-years, serving homemade southern-style food and drink. Take a look at the menu!
The third segment will travel north across the Ohio River over 82 miles to Wilmington, Ohio, for a final gathering at TinCap Hard Cider Craft Beer and BBQ Taproom.

Important notes:
- Again, please pre-register by clicking on the link here and completing the Google Form to indicate you are coming! We need to get an idea of numbers, organize driving groups, and give the restaurant a heads up a week in advance.
- We are using the BMW CCA electronic waiver system to expedite registration in the morning. All participants MUST sign the e-waiver form and get a wrist band at the starting point BEFORE starting the tour!! Save time and sign the electronic waiver ahead of time! - For those that cannot make the start of the drive, feel free to meet up with us anywhere along the route. Drivers are also welcome to peel off after lunch. Please email Tracey directly if making alternate plans.

Please refer to links below for turn by turn directions for each route segment. These are much easier to follow with a navigator. Google Maps links require a bit of interaction during the drive. Rallista is a new app that is designed for driving events and requires no intervention. Both contain the same route, so the choice is yours.
